Hotel Booking Link:  https://www.teamtravelsource.com/hockey_lander/great-lakes-hockey-league/

All Global Hockey Series events and tournaments are “Stay to Play” events.  Any team registered for an event that requires overnight accommodations must stay at a hotel booked through our hotel booking partner, TTS.  The link for booking hotels can be found under Hotels on the Menu on our website.

Please contact us for any questions regarding this policy at compliance@globalhockeyseries.com

  1. Any team whose home rink is greater than 75 miles from the tournament host rink, will be considered an out-of-town team, and will be required to comply with Global Hockey Series hotel policies and procedures.
  2. As a condition of acceptance into the tournament, all players and team staff of out-of-town teams MUST reserve rooms through TTS website and stay in an authorized hotel, at tournament rates. No other rates, discounts or hotel reward points, regardless of how obtained will be honored. No exceptions. Failure to comply and/or attempts to circumvent procedures and obligations will result in the following:
    1. Individual Offense, player or Team Staff member will be ineligible to perform in the tournament, until a fee of $250 is paid to Global Hockey Series to reinstate eligibility
    2. If more than (3) families on the same team are not adhering to the Stay to Play rules, the team will be subject to elimination from Tournament Playoff eligibility unless fees of $250 each are paid to reinstate players.
    3. Registration fees are non-refundable and future acceptance into Global Hockey Series will be subject to review.
  1. Each team is required to use the TTS (Team Travel Source) website and is responsible for creating a Group Room Block with the number of rooms required to accommodate their roster. You may contact TTS directly via email or phone at 502-354-9103.
  1. A Weblink including the booking instructions will be formatted and emailed directly to the Team Manager unless requested otherwise.  It is that person’s responsibility to forward the Booking Link to all families of their team. The Booking Link gives direct booking access to the block specifically created for the team.
  2. Should further assistance be needed with setting up a team room block, with the addition of more rooms to an existing room block, or if there are questions regarding the link, DO NOT call the hotel directly. Contact TTS..
  3. All hotels attempt to keep your team as close together as possible. However, keep in mind that special requests and rooming list changes may tend to fragment your block on various floors of the hotel.
  4. Teams cancelling more than 50% of their entire room block within one (1) week of the tournament start date will be subject to charges for one night per room plus tax, for their entire block of rooms originally listed on the rooming list and subject to elimination if cancelled for unjust cause.
  5. Specific hotel check-in times are posted on the Hotel Information Page. All rooms are guaranteed for late arrival.
  6. Teams requesting lodging at the same hotel with other teams should indicate this to TTS, immediately upon registering. TTS and Global Hockey Series will accommodate these requests whenever possible, but it cannot be guaranteed that suitable blocks will be available when the registrations are submitted.  The Hotel Weblink is on a “first come, first served” basis and once the tournament website launches, demand can be extremely high for those hotels closest to the facilities.
  7. Each hotel has their own policies regarding property damage and/or disruptive behavior.  Guests are responsible for being aware of and ensuring they are following those policies.  Property damage and/or continued disruptive behavior may result in removal from the hotel premises. No refund of hotel or tournament registration fees will be
  8. Global Hockey Series and TTS are not responsible for any hotel charges due to late cancelation resulting from a COVID-19 caused withdrawal from the tournament.
  9. There is an option available to teams that would prefer to book their own accommodations. This option MUST be Pre-Approved by Global Hockey Series and buyout of $500USD is due per team.
